Braemar Golf Club

Braemar Golf Club is the highest 18-hole golf course in Scotland with some of the finest greens in the area.

The course is a mixture of parkland and heath and sits in the valley of the river Clunie surrounded by the magnificent Southern Cairngorms.

Braemar is easily accessible from the many courses in Speyside via the well known Tomintoul to Cockbridge road and the beautiful scenery that goes with it.

The course is a short ( 4935 yards) 18 hole course, with excellent greens and fairways.

Visitors will usually find lots of time and opportunity to enjoy the dramatic mountain scenery and take in the mountain air.

The course has a long history (formed in 1902) and enjoyed Royal Patronsge for much of its time.

Our current patron is HRH The Duke of York who has played the course and described it as -a wonderful challenge set amid the magnificent scenery of Upper Deeside-.

A sentiment shared by many including one of our members, and former Walker Cup player, Sandy Pirie.

Come and experience it for your self--you will be enchanted.
