Braemar Mountain Rescue Team operates from two bases in the Cairngorm National Park.
The team headquarters is in Braemar and we also have a subsidiary base in Ballater.
Braemar Mountain Rescue Association was formed in 1965 by a group of local people who were concerned about the increasing number of mountain accidents and the resultant hardship and risk to local residents.
